Step into the heart of Bristol’s Old Town and journey through a thousand years of drama, innovation, and unforgettable stories. Your local guide will greet you outside the iconic Corn Exchange—an architectural gem that sits amongst the independent traders of St. Nicholas Market.
Travel back to Bristol’s Saxon beginnings, then follow the city’s rise as a powerhouse of the Triangular Trade and its pivotal role in the movement that ultimately helped bring that trade to an end. Trace the scars of the Blitz, wander through ancient alleyways, and enjoy colourful Rock ’n’ Roll tales from the city’s swinging 60s.
Your route winds upward to a hidden vantage point above the first floor of the Corn Exchange, offering a rare and striking view across the rooftops of the Old Town. The tour concludes in the vibrant bustle of St. Nicholas Market, where you’ll be left inspired—and a little hungry—amid its legendary food stalls and Bristol’s finest independent traders.
The tour lasts 90 minutes, includes two flights of stairs, and is not suitable for dogs
